Rank Tracker is where you track your Google keyword rankings.
Add the keywords that matter to your business and ContentMonk checks their positions daily - for you and your competitors.
You get a clear picture of where you stand in search, what's moving, and where the gaps are.
What you see on this page
At the top you'll find two widgets side by side.
Trend chart shows your average ranking over time, with a line for each tracked brand. You can toggle between Avg. Ranking and Traffic Estimate to switch between position data and estimated traffic.
Ranking Leaderboard shows all tracked brands with their average ranking, share of voice, and estimated traffic - so you can see at a glance how you compare to competitors across all your tracked keywords.
To the right of the leaderboard you'll see summary stats for your brand - your overall Share of Voice, average ranking, estimated traffic, and estimated pipeline per month.
Below the charts is the Tracked Keywords table.
For each keyword you can see your current position, search volume, keyword difficulty, estimated traffic, pipeline, funnel stage, topic, the URL ranking for it, competitor positions, and when it was last updated.
In the Actions column on the right, you can manually refresh the ranking for any individual keyword by clicking the 'refresh' icon - useful if you've just published something and want an up to date position without waiting for the daily update.
Adding keywords
Click 'Add Keywords' in the top right to add keywords manually.
You can also click 'Import' to paste in a list of keywords directly - one per line - which is the fastest way to get started if you have an existing list from Ahrefs, Semrush, or anywhere else.
Keyword suggestions
Click the Suggestions tab in the Tracked Keywords table to see keywords ContentMonk has found that are relevant to your site but aren't being tracked yet.
Suggestions are grouped by URL, so you can see which pages on your site are already ranking for keywords you haven't added yet. You can filter by funnel stage, search intent, and position range.
Click the arrow next to any URL group to expand it and see all the individual keywords underneath.
Each keyword shows its stage, current position, search volume, estimated traffic, keyword difficulty, and the URL ranking for it.
You can add any keyword to your tracking list directly from here by clicking '+ Track' on the right - no need to go back to the Add Keywords flow.
Competitor data
Every keyword in your list also shows competitor positions. The columns to the right of your URL show how each tracked competitor ranks for the same keyword.
This updates daily, so you always have a current view of how you stack up.
If you haven't added competitors yet, head to Competitors to set them up - they'll appear in Rank Tracker automatically once added.
Filters
The filter bar at the top lets you filter by brand, funnel stage, topic, and time range.
Filtering by brand switches the main trend chart to show that brand's ranking data.
Filtering by stage or topic narrows the keyword table to just that subset.
