Upgrading or Canceling Your Plan

Learn how to upgrade or downgrade your plan, buy add-ons, update your payment method, access your invoices, and cancel your subscription.

Written by Stefan Zorbic

Your plan and subscription are managed from the Billing page in Account Settings. Open it by clicking your name at the bottom left of the sidebar, then select Billing.

From here you can change your plan, add extra capacity, update your payment details, and cancel your subscription. The Billing page also shows your current plan, your trial status if you are still in a trial, and your usage for the current period. For a full breakdown of credits and plan limits, see Understanding Your Plan.

Changing your plan

To move to a different plan, click Change Plan. This opens the plan selection screen, where the available plans (Starter, Pro, and Scale) are shown side by side with their limits so you can compare them.

A Monthly and Yearly toggle at the top switches the billing cycle for every plan. Yearly billing saves 15% compared to monthly.

A higher plan shows Upgrade, a lower plan shows Downgrade, and your current plan is marked as your current plan. Selecting a plan applies the change to your subscription.

If you need higher limits, custom integrations, or dedicated support, use the "Contact us for a custom plan" option at the bottom of the same screen.

Adding extra capacity

If you need more of a single resource without changing your whole plan, click Add-ons.

Subscription add-ons such as Additional User and Additional Prompts are billed monthly. One-time purchases such as extra Credits and Extra Articles are charged once and added to your current period.

Note: If you are still in a trial, purchasing an add-on starts your paid subscription immediately.

Managing your payment details and invoices

Click Manage Billing to open the billing portal, which is handled securely through Stripe. There you can update your payment method, change your billing address, and view your invoice history.

To change your payment method, open the portal and update the card on file or add a new one. You can switch which card is charged for your subscription, replace an expiring card, or remove one you no longer use.

To access your invoices, the portal keeps your full invoice history. You can open or download any invoice for your records.

You can also update your billing address and business details from the same portal.

Canceling your subscription

Cancellation is handled in the same billing portal. Click Manage Billing, then use Cancel subscription.

There are no contracts and no cancellation fees, so you can cancel at any time.

If you cancel during a trial, you will not be billed when the trial ends. If you cancel an active subscription, it will not renew for the next billing period.

Canceling stops future billing and affects only the workspaces you own.

If you are also a member of a workspace owned by someone else, canceling or letting your own subscription expire does not change your access there - you keep your assigned role.

This is separate from archiving a workspace, which is done from Workspace Settings if you want to stop using a specific one.
